TMU Elite Short Term Exchange Program 2024 is a fully financed student exchange program offered by Taipei Medical University in Taiwan. Over the course of this five-month program at TMU, students will get the chance to live and study in Taipei City at a well regarded medical school. Their experience will be enhanced by studying among other international students and working professionals. This fully-funded exchange program offers a fantastic chance to take healthcare courses taught by doctors and professors at Taipei Medical University.
Students participating in this foreign exchange program will have the opportunity to thoroughly immerse themselves in Chinese language and culture through a 6-hour Mandarin intensive session offered once a week. Every month, there will be a six-hour course on medicine. In addition to theoretical study, the program will feature a three-month academic research project where students will engage in practical application. The course will run from January 2025 to September 2024. Candidates who made the short list will interview, and those who are chosen will be eligible to enroll in this educational program.
Several medical-related courses are available at TMU, including those in dentistry, pharmacy, nutrition, anatomy, nursing, public health, traditional Chinese medicine, long-term care, and digital health. Students will visit a pharmaceutical factory, hospitals, VIP rooms, labs, a medical simulation education center, and a virtual reality experience area as part of an off-campus program. Students will learn the Chinese language as part of this worldwide research initiative, which will aid in their language learning.
This fully financed short-term exchange program for overseas students will pay for all living expenses, round-trip travel, course materials, and an NTD 8,000 monthly stipend. A variety of cultural experiences, such as trips to Taipei 101—the tallest energy-efficient green building in the world—The National Palace Museum, Jiu Fen Old Street, E-DA Theme Park, and Nantou—which boasts gorgeous lakes and tea plantations—have been planned to keep the participants interested.
